Check the background of the travel agent and the client.
When engaging with a travel agent, make sure you check the credentials, certificates, recommendations from previous clients, reviews, website and or social media. This will reduce the risk to engage with a travel agent not suitable for your expectations.
Travel agents must also be aware to check the reviews of the client in the App and assess the requirement of the client using their expertise to determine if this is the right client to work with.
Do not send any money until there is a document to support the work agreement.
Make sure you sign a work agreement with the travel agent you choose to work with before paying for your trip. This way you will be both protected in case of any problem arisen from the service provided by the travel agent or the client. This document can be digital or manual, must include names, the quote for the trip, the amount to be paid, dates and terms and conditions of the business you are doing between the travel agent and the client.
Meeting in person with your travel agent or client.
